I cooked eggs on one of these pans and they didn’t stick! And I hardly ever cook. I highly recommend them.

The Swiss Diamond cookware is the best I have ever owned. I know they are pricey but they really are non stick. I purchased a Scan Pan Fry pan the same time I purchased a Swiss Diamond. I have used both for a year and the Swiss Diamond looks like new; the ScanPan, not so much. You may be put off by hand washing them after use..but it is a dream to clean up even if something has burned in the pan. You can use metal utensils..I use the occasional fork or tongs in the pan and it does not show. I have been adding to my collection every birthday, anniversary, and Christmas. The pans are heavy and the covers have a little shuttle wheel to let steam out or keep in. Try one in a size that you use a lot; I know you will fall in love with it!

This pan is terrific! I have a complete set of the Swiss Diamond cookwear plus a couple of extra pieces. The frying pans that come with the set are great, but not very deep. The square saute pan is perfect for frying chicken or anything else that requires a deeper pan. These are the easiest pans to clean that I have ever owned, and I have had almost every brand on the market! The outsides of the pans are coated also, so no matter what is cooked in them, one swish of a soapy dishcloth and they are clean inside and out. I have had the cookwear for over 6 months and it still looks and performs like new. I HIGHLY recommend the Swiss Diamond…once you have used it, you won’t want to use anything else!

So here we have a pan marketed as being made with diamonds that render the surface “indestructible.” It’s hyped up with cool-sounding technology jargon like “nano-composite.” The manufacturer blatantly claims the product contains no Teflon whatsoever, and says the pan is safe for your health.
But what’s the reality here? In reality:
* The nano-composite non-stick cooking surface is made primarily with PTFE, the chemical known as Teflon.
* The pan is marketed as a product that contains NO Teflon and is safe for your health.
* The non-stick surface scratches easily with a common fork.
* Scratching the surface with a household fork causes microscopic bits of the composite material (PTFE and diamonds) to be released into the food being cooked, whereby they are swallowed by consumers.
* The marketing of Swiss Diamond cookware heavily emphasizes “diamonds” while seemingly going out of its way to avoid mentioning Teflon or PTFE chemicals. It appears to give consumers the impression that they are “cooking on diamonds.”
* Consumers are being widely misled into believing that this product is an alternative to Teflon when, in reality, it’s made of the same thing as Teflon!
* Swiss Diamond pans are being marketed by some of the best-known retailers and catalog companies in the world, including Amazon.com, NextTen catalog and hundreds of others.

A few items that weren’t mentioned in other reviews:
1) The small saucer lid is too small to fit the small frying pan. Grrrrr (I deducted a star for that since this is a pricey set and they could have matched the sizes better).
2) The large saucer lid DOES fit the large frying pan.
3) The handles don’t get hot.
4) Unlike many of the cute colored enamel coated cookware, this cookwares outside surface is identical to it’s inside. This reduces cleanup effort as the surface is non-stick. Also, no ugly browned or burned enamel spots.
Overall, the quality, durability, and scratch resistance of this cookware is better than any Teflon coated pan I’ve used before.

This is the best non-stick cookware. I put it to the test by frying an egg with no oil or butter, just on the dry pan. It did not stick. I even flipped the egg and the yolk never broke. I love that I can use my metal utensils. Clean-up is so fast and easy, no soaking or scrubbing. You can’t go wrong with this cookware. If you buy extra pieces, get the breakfast pan which is made with one edge much lower so you can just slide your eggs off the pan onto the plate. Wonderful cookware.

Great cookware..very low maintenance once you’ve seasoned the pots and pans. Will add to this set over the next year! Highly recommend this set.

Not sure what some of the others are cooking but Ive cooked a ton of stuff on this cookware since I got it a year ago and Im notorious for overcooking/undercooking/burning….etc….anyway this cookware has changed all that and I love this stuff and its seriously durable!!!!!I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for good quality cookware.

We shopped for a good set of cookware for about two years. Got the Swiss Diamond ten piece set and would not give it up for five times the price. We have added more pieces and have never been more satisfied with any cookwear before. After a year of use it still looks like its right out of the box.
We are happy with Swiss Diamond and hope you will be also.

Recently purchased the 10 piece starter set along with the large frying pan and covered casserole. This is a beautiful set of cookware with the look of cast iron without the weight of cast iron, and very comfortable in the hand. I did a lot of research before deciding on a new set of cookware and am convinced I made the best choice. Love the way they cook and the ease with which they clean. I’ve gone through several sets of cookware in my 46 years of marriage, but this is the last set I’ll ever need because they are of such fine quality. I’m certain they’ll even become heirloom pieces to hand down one day! Even though you can put them in the dishwasher I never will because cleaning them is such a snap they won’t need the dishwasher. And even though you can use metal utensils on them, I won’t because I want to “baby” this cookware with the finest of care. Can’t recommend this cookware enough. Furthermore, it was so good to buy something that does not say “Made in China.” Each piece is boldy stamped on the bottom: “Made in Switzerland.” Yes, they are pricey but I truly feel I got what I paid for. I’m a very proud owner of Swiss Diamond Cookware.

nice pans intially but they will show normal wear and tear and they do scratch even if you don’t use metal utensils.

My first impression on this set is highly favorable. It has good heat distribution and clean up is a breeze. I can’t comment yet on the wearability/durability and I always use nylon or silicone utensils. It does appear to be very well made but is it worth the price? It is to me but who knows?
