I have Farberware skillets and I bought this set under the impression they would be of the same quality. They certainly are not. They came already scratched and they don’t feel as nice as my other pans. I bought them for around $60 and I’m returning them as soon as I can. (Note the name Farberware is no where on the box or any of the pieces in this set, they don’t want to be associated with the actual product.)

I bought this item solely because it mentioned that the product was by Farberware. It is not so. Silverstone is a brand by itself and not a Farberware product. I had to return the package and file for a refund. Pretty disappointing.

I bought this pot and pan set as a gift. It has been only 2 months and the pans are PEELING!!!! This is NOT a good product. The pans were $89.99. I thought the pots would be a good buy. I was VERY wrong.

I have not seen “Silverstone” cookware in a long time, and worried that I never would see it again. I received a cheap set of “non-stick” pans last Christmas, and by the fall, we had eaten (literally) all the nonstick coating off the pans! I bought these in the fall of 2006, and we have not dined on Silverstone flecks yet! The price was ridiculously low, and these are high-quality pans (Faberware!!!) with riveted and non-heat transferring handles. The lids fit tight enough to steam broccoli in 1 minute. It seemed like they arrived before I turned off the computer! Honestly, I did not pay for fast shipping of any sort and they were here in about 3 business days! Did I mention the price was ridiculously cheap?

I bought this months ago, but didn’t use it until last week. 1st time I used the saucepan, the black caosting started peeling off.

I LOVE this cookware set. Water seems to boil faster than usual & other things seem to cook a little quicker. Especially with stuff like spaghetti, my cooking time has actually decreased. And, I don’t have areas of the pan that burn worse than other parts like I’ve had with other cookware sets. Clean-up is also really easy.
There was one thing that I was VERY surprised about though. I’m someone who usually feels the heat (when touching the handles, for instance) more than other people seem to but with this cookware, I never have to use a hot pad. I don’t know what the substance is that they have covering the handles but it’s really nice to just be able to pull stuff off the stove & not worry about getting burned.
I recommend this cookware to everyone!

We needed to purchase a new cook set due to recent moving and my wife and I did not much of shopping beacause of our busy schedule. I nomally find good priced products from amazon so I did a quick search and bought this set. We both love the product very much. It’s very durable and heats up fast. The color red is outstanding with our kitchen decoration. About a week after I bought this on amazon my wife had to stop by “big lot” here in our town and saw the same set for $15 less! The only thing different was the color red wasn’t available at “big lot”. My suggestion to anybody who reading this review is do more shop around at ur local discount stores such as “big lot” or similar places before you purchase from amazon.
