I saw these in person at a manufacturer’s outlet store and as a berry fan, I simply HAD to have them. They are very cleverly designed – the lids fit snugly and don’t wobble, thanks to a little notch in the cover and a matching one in the bottom piece. As you can see from the photo, the lids all have handles for easy unveiling of your culinary masterpiece inside.

Amazon doesn’t tell you how big these casseroles are, but I will: the package says the capacity of the strawberry, raspberry and blackberry casseroles is 14 oz. The blueberry, with its non-tapered bottom, holds nearly 50% more (20 oz.).

Your friends and family might get suspicious if you always take the blueberry for yourself, but don’t worry – I won’t tell!

These are precious. They are great for displaying/adding a punch of color to your kitchen and they are also great for individual desserts or dip bowls. Too cute!

Yes, if you are after low-calorie deserts, these cute little stoneware pots are for you. Nevermind that the mfg. doesn’t bother to tell how much they hold — just know that if you put more than a cup of anything in them and then put them in the oven to bake — you’ll have most of your petite endeavour all over the bottom of the oven.

Great for tiny cobblers (use about 5 ounces of fruit and then about 4 x 1T dollops of crust/topping.) Use them for tiny servings of baked lasagna. Or tiny cakes to top with cold berries and whipped cream.

Just know that the word to remember is tiny. Very small. Itty bitty.

    And cute.

An exceptional culinary resource! We’ve used it for traditional wok cooking, steaming, and soup making. The non-stick and heat transfer properties exceeded our expectations. The glass lids are hard to find in other products, but very helpful in many ways.

The Staub wok is ready to use immediately.

Staub enameled cast iron products are highly durable. They do not discolor or rust, they resist chipping, and do not require seasoning.

The interior, as well as the exterior surfaces are enameled iron. The durable black —matte— enamel interior, as with all Staub cast iron, doesn’t need seasoning. The more you use your Staub product, the better it gets! Oils used when cooking will penetrate the pores of the —matte enamel— and create a natural, smooth, nonstick surface, just like a finely seasoned non-enameled iron pan. The smooth enameled exterior is easier to clean.

Staub made a wonderfully functional design decision to coat the interior with a matte surface, while coating the exterior of the pan with the traditional smooth surface.

This is by far the best cookware available. My advice, READ the manual before using if you are not familiar with the way cast iron cooks. I made the mistake of turning my burners to high heat when they function on low to medium! You will burn your food and ruin your pan if you use the high heat! Other than that (which is entirely my fault for not reading) this is so nice to have in my collection. This set is perfect to round off a cookware set.

  7. Idle Says:

Had this saved in my cart for about a year, and it finally hit a price point that was too good to pass up. A great complement to the 5-piece set I had purchased last year. I have not seen any pitting. Each piece will get a workout in my kitchen. A great set for those who are looking to upgrade their cookware. Satin Dune might not be the most exciting color, but it will blend in with most “standard” kitchen decor. I’m not big on everything being perfectly color matched (I have Le Creuset items in about 3 different colors now), but I know it is a consideration for some. Be sure to watch for special offers, as they come up often.

  8. O'Rieley Says:

I bought the Dune set on a lightning deal. The 5.5 qt oven had a pitting problem. Two deep pits on the bottom interior surface and many minor pits on the outside. It would be a second in the Le Creuset outlet. I contacted Amazon and they were great and sent out a replacement set, not only the oven. The second set had one pit mark on the interior side of the 5.5 qt so I keept it and sent the rest of the second set back with the first pitted 5.5 qt oven. It was a pain since the box weighs 40 pounds. Amazon did well by me but Le Creuset needs better quality control.
P.S. I lost out on the bonus since I had to order lightning fast to get the deal, so be prepared if you are tracking this set for a deal.

  9. Unsworth Says:

I reccomend this product to any avid cook. Especially for soups and stews, the dutch oven is just…marvelous. Searing in the pan is a breeze and gives it great color. They are so easy to clean up. Its just great. I’ve been wanting this for a long time and it has met and exceeded my expectations.

  10. Thomason Says:

I just ordered this Le Creuset cookware set today. I can’t wait to get it. I found the same set online through Williams-Sonoma and other sites for roughly $100 more. I am so glad I found this set here at Amazon for less. I have heard wonderful things about Le Creuset: sturdy, cooks well, distributes heat evenly, enamel porcelain doesn’t scratch, cleans easily, and creates a nice presentation from oven to table. Looking forward to using the set!

  11. Jamison Says:

I like the set, but the handles get VERY HOT…Beware…should sell handle grips/covers to prevent burns. In addition the so called “NONSTICK” is not true…and scrubbing is not an option as scratches on coating will only create more sticking in the future. The set is VERY heavy…so work out those arm muscles.
