Warning to those like me who bought this because it was such a beautiful red color. If you wash these in the dishwasher - which I eventually broke down and did - they fade and look terrible. Doesn’t affect cooking of course and no complaints there.

I like this set so far. One thing I noticed was that the non-stick coating overlapped the top of some of the pans and tended to flake off. I rubbed the edges real well with a rubber glove to eliminate the loose stuff, but it makes me wonder how well the coating is going to hold up, and how much of the coating I have eaten. Nice set and not too light weight, for 100 bucks. I like the 3 sauce pans that are included, especially the handy smallest one. The handles for the pots and lids have no coating, and get hot, but I’ve gotten used to that. The glass lids are nice, as I can see the meal I am destroying very clearly.

I really love my cookware set. It cleans easily and i love the idea that i can start something on top of the range and finish it in the cookware in the oven. I also was very impressed with the way amazon resolve the matter of the glass top that was damaged in shipment. They contacted me and we were able to resolve the issue quickly and to my satisfaction. I plan on order many more things through amazon as this was the first item i ever purchased on line. I also liked the speed at which i received my items.

It’s been six months since I purchased this set. I waited to review them because I wanted to see how they’d perform. Now I can say that they are absolutely fantastic!
This is my only set of cookware and I love to cook from scratch so I use them at least once a day, sometimes twice, and they still look just as beautiful as they did the day I took them out of their package! The red is bright and new-looking. The silver handles are still shiny. The interiors are in perfect condition. (I must mention that I NEVER put these in the dishwasher. I always wash them by hand, which only takes a few minutes because food slides right off.)
Saturday I was cleaning up from cooking and mentioned to my husband that I believed these would be the last set of cookware I would ever need because they are performing so well. I would definately recommend them to everyone!

I needed a new set of pots and pans so I bought these about 4 months ago. Wow, am I glad I did! I paid more than they are on sale for now but they were still worth the price.
The red color is gorgeous and the non-stick coating works like a charm. I use something from this set everyday. I have followed the advice on the directions and only handwashed them. After 4 months they still look brand new. The lids fit perfectly and there’s a size pot for any need. These are the only pots and pans I own and they’re all I need.

This cookware set is fantastic! It’s designed for everyone- people who are just starting out (like me), and people that are more experienced in the kitchen (like my mother and grandmother). It has everything you need- one of my favorite pans being the 2 qt. straining saucepan. It’s so easy and convenient to use the side pouring features. I love it.
At first I was a little worried because the color in the picture looks more like a brick than a red, but I was happily surprised to find that it’s that same candy apple red as in all the other cookware sets.
Also, the quality and durability for this price is just amazing. Buying everything this set offers separately would cost a fortune compared to this. It’s well worth it. I’m definitely recommending this set to my friends.

My parents were very impressed with the look and feel of this cookware.
Some of the glass lids have a strainer for draining vegetables or whatever. The pots are not too heavy, yet don’t feel cheap by being too
light. Very nice!

I love these pots and pans! They are nice and heavy with tight fitting lids, a fun color and seem like they will last for years. I’m glad I read the previous reviews, tho. I was for warned not to leave them on high heat, since they could fuse with my smooth cook top. That being said, I agree with another reviewer, I used to burn more stuff by starting out on high heat! The only down side for me was that the glass lid’s handles do get a little hotter than I expected. Not that big a deal- just use a pot holder.

I have many Kitchen Aid appliances and LOVE them all. That’s why I decided to purchase the cookware. I got them in red. The red faded after the first few washings. It looks like I had them for years. I will be replacing them. I was very dissapointed.

I am a single dad and this set has made cooking and cleaned up quick and simple. Heat transfer is good and everything works and fits together as it should. Its a huge leap up from the cheap stuff you get a the local chains. The handles are great and cleanup has been very fast.

Absolutely it is not dishwasher safe. I would suggest that anyone should stay away from Kitchenaid cookware. Yes, they have a nice warranty…HOWEVER, after using my set only a couple of months, the red started to fade. Upon reading the fine print in that wonderful warranty, I see that you are not supposed to expose the cookware to high temperatures. SAY WHAT?? It’s COOKWARE. Okay… and then I also find in the warranty that it’s not DISHWASHER SAFE. !!!! What in the world?!? We are not living in the stone age. Who makes cookware that’s not dishwasher safe. The non-stick finish seemed to be working okay… but the red outside of the cookware looks TERRIBLE. It quickly became faded and chipped. I’m now in the market for a new set of cookware that will withstand HEAT and the DISHWASHER.
