It may be odd , but the handles seem weight matched to the rest of the cookware. I am pleased with the purchase. I found that my sister has a set like it only she preferred stainless.

It’s truly non-stick if you use it the right way. There’s usually no need to bring the stove setting higher than medium high. This sort of cookware takes a bit longer to heat up but once its at proper temperature it cooks really well – evenly, thoroughly with really great results. After you use this cookware a few times, you realize that well made cookware really does matter. One internet commentator recommended testing for the right temperature with a few drops of water – sizzle means just right, and splatter means too hot. They’re not as durable as cheap cookware, meaning you can’t abuse them and expect them to last. They’re sort of like fine instruments that you have to take care not to overheat – which damages them – or to mar the surface with harsh abrasives or cleansers – which apparently can ruin the cookware.

Best cookware set I have ever had. They cook evenly. You don’t have to use high heat at all. I is really hard to burn food. Only bad thing is the handle gets real hot.

These pans/pots are great and work very well on Cetamic Stove Tops that require a flat surfaced pan. They heat evenly and work well. Amazon sent my order to Chef Resources for fulfillment. The small fry pan came with a dent in the rim and while Chef Resources was good about replacing, the first replacement came with dent in the rim as well. Took me two hots to get replaced. Great pans however!

I have had this pan set for awhile and I would replace it today if I hadn’t spent so much money. The pans are easily overheated and you have to use pot holders to handle the pans. They take longer to heat up than the Faberware set I was looking to replace with this purchase. Also the Faberware pans which cost half are better than this set of pans. I would not spend any money on these items. Emeril put out a poor product

The pan was very reasonably priced while being just the perfect size that I needed for my needs. Arrived promptly.

I’ve had a set of Emeril cookware for 8 years, and have been happy with it overall until recently, when the two pans that I use the most have begun to lose their non-stick coating. I have never put the pans in the dishwasher, only use plastic utensils, only clean them with a sponge, and never preheat the pans on their own. I’ve continued to use the pans despite the deterioration of the coating, and one of the pans has now lost almost all of the coating.
So here I am 8 years later without a receipt, and I’m not sure if I can return the pans under warranty or not. At this point I’m not sure if I can even donate them to Goodwill. I’m also concerned that over the years, my family has been consuming this non-stick coating, and I’m not sure that I’d want to get a replacement from the manufacturer anyway. I am in the process of converting to cast iron or le Creuset cookware. I’ve had some le Creuset pots for over 10 years that I use quite frequently, and they are still good as new.
This is a nice set of cookware, but if you’re looking for something that “lasts a lifetime” as I was, I don’t think this is it.

I too have experienced problems with the coating wearing off and food sticking. No problems for 2 year, loved the pans! I never used anything sharp or metal, never put them in a dishwasher, never stacked anything in them (they were hung), never heated the pans empty or on full heat, there are no scratches at all, just an over all wearing.
I thought these pans would at least last the length of their warrantee but no where near. Unfortunately I am now in New Zealand and it wouldn’t be worth shipping them back to the USA even if I thought for a minute they wouldn’t just claim it was my fault. I also have stainless steel All Clad pans purchased at the same time, 6 years ago, and they are still very much like new.
I wouldn’t recommend these pans at all. Go for All Clad or another brand entirely.
