Have had the set for a few months now…(updated)
Pros
- Seem well Made
- Have good weight to them
- One of the pan lids fits on 10″ skillet which is nice
- Non Stick is very effective
- Good heat spread over pan and cooks evenly
- Handles do not get hot at all (but handles on lids do)
- Attractive set overall
- Cool laser etching measurements
- Great versatility on this set
Cons
- Not one piece construction, bottom seems it is adhered on to pan
- Handles are uncomfortable if you get a bad grip on a heavy pan
- Pans easily pick up discoloration from cooking (simply aesthetic blemish, but can be remedied with proper cleaning products.)
- Laser etching in quarts…?
- Not completely dishwasher safe.
- Some distinct guidelines established in the care book that have to be noted to maintain the limited lifetime warranty.
Notes:
- When washing and cooking noticed the water go into the lid around the edge a bit, not sure if this will become a problem. The next day it was gone so it didn’t stay. Wasn’t really thrilled about the overall construction of the lids…but they do the job well without defect so far.
- Laser etching is in quarts…personally would rather have it in cups
- When cleaning these pans, as many others, if you soak them it is pretty easy to clean but if you don’t your in for a chore.
- Watch your starchy foods, will stick to stainless steel
Overall a really good set for the money as far as quality and stainless steel goes. The big plus for this set is its versatility. Looked hard for a stainless steel set with non-stick skillets and glass tops…this set along with a calphalon essentials stainless set I ran into about a month after purchase looked like a good buy for around the same price.

we are really gung-ho for American made products & this treasure is not only made in USA but it is a top quality pan. It is easy to clean & use (not too heavy, not too light), the size is perfect for almost anything & the handle is just the right fit. It cooks evenly and the teflon coating appears to be of very good quality. We’re thinking of buying another just like it!
